Chinese Government Scholarship

The 2013 Chinese Government Scholarship application is open now. Prospective students who wish to start study in September 2013 pursuing master's or doctor's degrees at Beijing Institute of Technology are welcomed to apply for this scholarship to Beijing Institute of Technology.

Eligibility

1.Applicants are non-Chinese citizens and are in good health.

2.Applicants are not studying in Chinese universities as degree students at the time of application.

3.Applicants for master degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.

4.Applicants for Doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.  

Application

Step 1, Apply on-line at  http://laihua.csc.edu.cn. Please be known that the Agency Number of Beijing Institute of Technology is 10007. Print the application form, put your signature.

Step 2, Prepare the other required materials:

1.Highest diploma (notarized photocopy). If applicants are university students or already employed, they shall also provide studying certificates or employment documents. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

2.Transcripts (notarized photocopy). Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

3.A study or research plan in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words).

4.Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors.

5.Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form filled in Chinese or English. The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. The medical examination results are valid for 6 months. All applicants are kindly requested to take this factor into consideration while determining the time to take the medical examination.
