Chinese Language and Culture Experience Program 2014
★Objective:
The objective of the program is to improve friendly exchange among international students and to enhance ability to master the Chinese Language and understand Chinese culture.
★Applicant Requirements:
We will accept candidates, who should be physically healthy and abide by Chinese Laws and university regulations.
★Class Schedule:

★Curriculum and Activities:
A. There is a 3-hour Chinese Language Class from 8:30 to 11:30 every morning Monday to Friday， including Oral Chinese, Chinese Listening, and Fundamental Chinese. Class will be arranged according to students’ Chinese level.
B. There is a 2-hour Chinese Culture Lecture from 14：00-16：00 on Tuesday and Thursday. Lectures are about Chinese History and Culture, Chinese Movie Appreciation, and Chinese Calligraphy and Painting, etc.
C. Culture trips:
The Greatwall, Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Chinese Acrobat Show, Beijing Capital Museum, Beijing Zoo,798 Art Zone, Enterprise visit, etc.
★Tuition and Fees:
Registration: RMB250/person
Tuition:

The tuition covers: classes , extra lectures, textbooks, graduation certificate, souvenir, graduation banquet, tour tickets, transportation, tour lunch, tour guide accompaniment and insurance( China’s Ministry of Education requires that all international students should purchase the Comprehensive Insurance for Foreigners, which does not cover outpatient medical care).
★Accommodation (All on Beijing Institute of Technology campus):
International student apartment (There are 2 or 3 double-bed rooms in each apartment with shared living room and bathroom.): RMB60/bed/day
Standard room of school guest hotel (double-bed room): RMB100/bed/day
Apartment of International Educational Exchange Building in BIT (3-Star hotel): RMB130/person/day
★Dining：
Students will receive prepaid canteen card, and they can have meals in school canteens or in an annexed restaurant.
★Outcome：
Students participating in the short-term program after passing the final exam will get our short-term program graduation certificate and transcripts issued by the International Student Center.
★Application:
Group and individual application are both acceptable. Class will be opened when the number of applicants reaches 20 for each program.
